Created as part of Ocean Hunter’s essentials range, the Redback focuses on durability, accuracy and value—making it an excellent option for divers progressing into more serious spearfishing.

Available in lengths from 80cm to 120cm, this railgun suits a wide variety of hunting styles. The shorter 80–100cm models excel in caves, reefs and tight inshore environments, while the 100–120cm sizes offer extra reach and punch for pelagic species or deeper water hunts.

The Redback features Ocean Hunter’s proven handle and mechanism, now moulded in glass-reinforced nylon for greater strength and longevity. A stainless steel trigger and line release ensure smooth and reliable operation. The aircraft-grade aluminium rail barrel supports the 7mm spring steel shaft along its entire length for straight, accurate shots. A closed muzzle allows easy loading and the option to add a second band for more power.

Out of the box, the railgun is ready to hit the water, complete with a Dyneema-powered 16mm band, shark clip, gun bungee, 400lb monofilament shooting line and a 7mm coated spring steel spear.
