The Daiwa Live Trout Swimbait is the ultimate big bait predator lure, engineered to imitate a live trout with unmatched realism. Using advanced 3D scanning and printing technology, a real trout was scanned, printed, and moulded to create the most accurate body shape, features, patterns, and colours possible.
Constructed with a solid silicone body, lifelike fins, 3D eyes, and a UV-active finish, the Live Trout delivers incredible realism in the water. Internally, the head section features a heavy-duty wire construction with two tow points, allowing anglers to fine-tune the lure’s action and running depth.
The top tow point produces a deeper swimming depth with a more aggressive action, while the tow point located in the mouth allows the lure to run shallower with a more subtle action. Both tow points perform effectively at slow to fast retrieve speeds. At slower retrieves, the lure produces a natural flanking movement and roll, while faster retrieves activate an aggressive tail-kicking action from the duckfin tail.
Rigged and ready to fish, the Live Trout features heavy-duty internal wire construction, 5X strong treble hooks, and a quick-release stinger hook system. The stinger is connected via HD split rings and a 60lb flexible wire, allowing it to swing free on hook-up to reduce the chance of hooks pulling free.
The 25cm model is perfectly suited for targeting large predators such as Murray Cod and Golden Perch that prey on trout in lakes and river systems. It is also highly effective for Barramundi, Mulloway, and other large predatory fish.
