Retaining the same proven 53mm profile as the original 53SP, the EXDR (Extra Deep Running) version is engineered to dive to depths of up to 4 metres (12 feet) with ease when using light line. This allows anglers to effectively target deeper-holding fish without sacrificing casting accuracy or action.
Ideal for species such as bream, bass, estuary perch, and a variety of light-tackle predators, the Spike 53 EXDR features a precisely balanced internal shifting weight system. This design not only enhances castability, despite its longer bib, but also ensures a stable and enticing swim at depth.
