DAIWA STEEZ A TW 1016-CC B/C

The eagerly anticipated new version of the STEEZ fishing reel is now available. It comes equipped with DAIWA’s HYPERDRIVE DESIGN, which enhances the reel’s strength and performance even further. The primary feature of the STEEZ, its solid aluminium frame, has been improved with a HYPER ARMED HOUSING design. This design offers a sturdy base for optimal gear alignment and strength, while still being lightweight and comfortable for extended use.

HYPER TOUGH DIGIGEAR is installed in STEEZ A for the first time, resulting in a more powerful retrieve and reduced winding effort required under heavy loads. Arguably the signature feature of baitcast reels, the spool of STEEZ A II has also been redeveloped.

The STEEZ A II is a new type of spool, made from ultra-lightweight G1 Duralumin material. It boasts MAG-Z BOOST braking technology, a unique two-stage magnetic brake system that can increase the casting distance. The braking system reduces brake pressure from when the spool starts to slow down until your lure touches the water, thanks to its ability to return one stage of the braking system mid-flight.

The STEEZ A II comes with a 90mm swept handle and larger profile handle knobs, making it ideal for Australian bait cast use. These features come pre-installed, so you don’t have to worry about setting them up yourself.
